Lee Ann Womack says she believes Sugar Hill Records is "the perfect fit" for her.
The country star just signed a new deal with the label, which will release her next album in September. Lee Ann says she'd been looking for a company "where passion for music and artistic integrity drive the decision-making," and believes she's found "the right home" for her "very personal" upcoming release.
The singer worked on her new album with her husband, producer Frank Liddell. She says they "promised each other" their only criteria for the material was that they "absolutely loved" the song, and adds that they were "really inspired" by such freedom.
Lee Ann's new album will be her first collection of new studio material since 2008's Call Me Crazy, which features the hit "Last Call."
