Florida Georgia Line's hit "Cruise" is posting its 19th nonconsecutive week atop the Hot Country Songs list, which is the best run on that chart in more than 50 years. The last song to log 19 weeks at number one was Leroy Van Dyke's "Walk On By" in 1961 and '62. Meanwhile, "Cruise" is celebrating its 20th week leading the Country Digital Songs chart.
Luke Bryan is showing staying power on the Country Airplay chart. "Crash My Party" is spending its second consecutive week at number one, and becomes his fourth single to enjoy an extended chart-topping run.
Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge, and Taylor Swift are also making significant chart moves. Moore's "Hey Pretty Girl" has climbed up two spots from last week to crack the top ten on the Country Songs list, and is now perched at number nine. Eldredge is inching his way up the Country Airplay chart with "Don't Ya," which has finally made the top ten on that list.
And the title track to Swift's latest album, "Red," is seeing a surge this week, courtesy of the song's recently released video. "Red," which made its Country Songs chart debut at number two last October, has jumped from number 43 to 31 on the latest tally. It rose from number 34 to number 29 on the Country Airplay chart.
